why

Basically to share the adventures I have with friends and everyone else who might want to participate. I know the struggle of finding people to go on expeditions and explore with, especially when there’s unknown variables: Will there be enough water? Will the weather hold? I’ve never been there, will it suck really bad and make me hate everything making everyone hate me? (haha).

The greatest point however, is that outdoor adventure DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EXTREME. The trips can be small or large, long or short, but always fun and offering something new. And that’s the point right? You don’t need to huck a 192 ft waterfall to have fun. I have fun on the world’s tiniest boogiewater on a dry river. And that’s what everything is about.

So I’m just trying to let people know whats up on the east coast. Paddling is only a sliver of the stuff you can do outside. I’m just trying to share it and let everyone into it (because really, if you haven’t had someone look at you funny when you try to explain this super cool drop or the beautiful scenery, you’re the next great writer of our generation or have friends on the super cool wavelength). So that’s what it’s all about.
